“True knowledge is that which establishes harmony and synthesis between science on the one hand and spirituality and ethics on the other”
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
It is often said that educating a man results in his education alone, whereas when a woman is educated, her entire family is educated and benefited. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has always been a champion of women’s education, empowerment and their welfare. Inspired by Swami’s ideals, Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam Junior College for Women is an endeavour to provide completely free, values-based education combining Indian culture & spirituality to girls across all sections of society, including the underprivileged. The focus is to empower women, both from urban and rural India, and create individuals who can be role models for society in future.
Located in the sylvan surroundings of Kondapaka village of Siddipet District in Telangana, Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Niketanam Junior College is a fully residential institution exclusively for girl children, situated in a sprawling 12.6-acre campus, offering intermediate education in Arts, Commerce and Science. The education provided is free to all students, many of whom belong to the poor and deprived sections of the society.
